Spanish Speaking Dog Owners Fear Buying Dog Food On Line

(PRWEB) May 10, 2010 -- A total of 65.3% of participants of the i-perros (http://www.i-perros.com) study confirmed they had purchased products online, however only 9.6% ever purchased dog food on the internet.

One of the most important reasons for not buying online was the fear of theft of credit card details as stated by a vast 23.2% of the dog owners, where as 11.8% of the people were worried about delivery problems. A surprisingly 9.7% didn’t know they could purchase dog food online at all. However, 40.4% simply prefers to shop on Main Street, because they appreciate the interaction with a human.

But when presented with a really good offer 52.5% of Spanish speaking dog owners will consider purchasing dog food online.

Of the owners that had bought dog food online before, 57.2% did so because of the convenience to receive their purchase at home and because of the better prices.

The i-perros (http://www.i-perros.com) study shows that Spanish speaking dog owners do buy on the internet, especially if the price is right, but that they prefer to buy some products, like dog food, offline.
